Just got the news that one of my fine-art images is shortlisted (nominated final round) at the Siena Creative Photo Awards 2020!! Wow... I am speechless. And so honoured. Upcoming June 15 the winners will be announced, and there is a ceremony on October 24 in Siena, Italy.
This is what the award is about (quoted from their website):
"Creative Photo Awards aims to recognize and reward visionary artists using photographic processes and images. It’s searching for photos born out of the passion and from the author’s deep sensitivity: the result from a need to express feelings through the image, a unique view of the surrounding reality. Alp Flix like a painting ~ This was one of my most beautiful experiences in the Swiss Alps (Graubunden). With my photography friends we went to Alp Flix, near Savognin. It was rainy and cloudy that day. I am a stubborn photographer (one of my good qualities as a photographer) so I was not bothered by the bad weather. I used a double image shot in my camera to get a mysterious effect on this photo with beautiful colors despite the rain. Altitude: 2000 meters +
