Well, it is time for some action pictures of me once again. Of course I am mostly behind the camera instead of up front. Though maybe you wonder what a wildlife hide day looks like? ... It is mostly a lot of waiting, so it is an excellent training in patience!! And... it is not always easy to stay awake. I take a coffee can, dextro energy tablets and cheese on bread with me.
I mostly hear the cheering sounds of birds around me and squirrels running across the rooftop of the hide! I need to be extra alert when it stays too quiet... it means a predator is around and the forest holds its breath! This time the reason was an Eurasian sparrowhawk! Wow!
I also saw a lot of wet squirrels in a golden glow, running around and swimming. I stay at the hide from sunset till almost sundown, approximately 10 hours. Phoeeheee! Well worth it!
