The story behind the purple saxifrage design in my VIDA voices collection

A lot of new designs are added to my clothing line at VIDA. Like this cashmere scarf with purple saxifrage flowers. These purple flowers only grow low to the ground in the high Arctic. I visited the isle of Jan Mayen near the coast of Greenland and Svalbard (Spitsbergen) in 2010 in an epic journey from the coast of the Netherlands, Scotland, Faroe Islands, Jan Mayen to way up high to Northern Svalbard. Purple saxifrage is tiny but does bring color to the vast and rough polar landscape, a symbol of fragility and beauty in the harshness of polar life.
