In 2015 my family and I were on Holiday in Eerbeek, National Park De Hoge Veluwe, the Netherlands. One day I went for a walk. I passed through woodlands with trees that seemed aged, with mushrooms and fungus on big banks of rotten trees and the smell of the forest was spicy with a twist of moisture. A fairy-like atmosphere with a deep breath of silence made me feel privileged to be there. I came across the heathlands, with hay and blue berry vegetation. A lot of morning dew was caught in the small spider cobwebs, especially between the blue berry plants. I chose a small depth of field to create the colored smudges, and only a few morning dew drops seem to be sharp. Like pearls on a wave of colors...
