Publication: The Phormidium Case

Last year I visited 30 sampling locations to investigate swimming lakes for the presence of Phormidium, a filamentous cyanobacterium. Phormidium is one of the (recent) potential toxic cyanobacteria in the monitoring program of Dutch swimming waters. I wrote about Phormidium in general in two earlier blogs, The Phormidium case Part I and Part II.

In the Dutch Magazine H2O for water related organizations we published an article about this investigation, publishing date: August 17, 2012, No. 16, page 28-30. The article is in Dutch, written in cooperation with Waterschap de Dommel, and can be found in low-res here.
